An incomparable in between
Offering performances a la Porsche 911 C4A and a design that rivals the beautiful Italians, the R8 sits between two worlds. Less extreme than the aforementioned Italians, its day in day out versatility keeps you comfortable in all situations. As to price, (our model retailed for $150, 000) it seems to strike a balance between the slightly higher stickers of its rivals yet substantially less than other exotics. A parting detail: Audi should supply factory sunglasses because one gets blinded by all the camera flashes illuminating this unique sculpture called the R8.
P.S. Rumours have it that a new motorization could accompany next year’s R8, namely the V10 from the S8. Stay tuned! |
