Road-test disliked : 

•  Third row seats don’t fold into the floor. The owner must remove them from the vehicle if he wants more cargo space. I can assure you these seats are quite heavy. Such a poor concept as no room in a luxury SUV; 
• The Escalade is not environment friendly. The average observed during our road test was 20l/100km. City driving showed worse results, the average was 27 litres per 100km!; 
• Quality of certain materials. For example, the front lights fogged up on a rainy day and it took several days before this disappeared; 
• The very costly options. The model tested had for more than 16 000$ of options.

I know a lot of you will tell me that driving such a huge vehicle is not eco friendly but the experience is worth the negative comments you might get. Rarely have I felt such an impression of luxury emanate in vehicle. We could compare the Escalade to a very prestigious watch: it isn’t more precise than the Timex but its look makes you fall for it. Whether the choice is rational or not, there is a good chance you will buy the more expensive watch. Well, I fell it’s the exact same thing with the Escalade.
