Honda Element 2007

So much better looking
Although the Element has been around for several years, it was never a candidate for the most attractive car award. In fact, the strange, the cube-like appearance kept buyers away. This vehicle’s unique versatility, however, compares to none. The 2007 model has undergone major changes including the addition of a new version called SC.
Aesthetic enhancement
This year, all the Element versions get new front and rear bumpers plus hood grille replacements. The substantial modifications were made to the SC “cube” which now wears a very modern look featuring beautiful 18-inch rims and colour matching bumpers and body. These changes, along with other exterior refinements, will certainly improve its desirability.
As to the interior, there are minor changes to colours and materials.
Mechanical augmentation
The two most important modifications are the 4 cylinder output going from 156 hp to 166 hp and, most significant, the automatic transmission moving to five speeds. Normal and in gear acceleration quickens somewhat and fuel consumption improves.
The Element, as you might have guessed, does not belong on a track although performance remains steady, allowing comfortable city and highway driving. In addition, the 18-inch wheels make handling easier. |
