Range Rover Sport 2007
SUV >
By Philippe Legault - (2007-06-18)
This pioneer of 4X4 steps into the third millennium keeping an edge over its competition. Although Land Rover is now property of Ford, it has been able to keep a large part of British independence and a high standard of fabrication. The Rover has this unique silhouette with air intake vents located on top of the front fender.

Range Rover Sport 2007
By Philippe Legault
For her (or him)
As previously mentioned, the Range Rover Sport Supercharged knows how to appeal to the modern woman. Its sophisticated look is recognizable et known. The Rover even becomes a royal vehicle in the 2006 Stephen Frears movie The Queen. We can see her Royal Majesty Queen Elisabeth II drive around the English country.
The modern woman will appreciate the many features found in the luxurious and spacious interior. The high quality leather helps create the luxury feel. The panels seem well put together. The driver is well seated and place high above. These seats are heated and also air conditioned. Madame might appreciate some gadgets has the electrically managed pneumatic suspension that can be configured from the keys which allows the truck to lower itself in order to make access easier. Since the Rover is a big vehicle the dynamic mom might be charmed by the parking assist feature. One security feature is the front HID lights that pivot in all directions depending on speed and direction.
He or She dislikes
Although the Rover is a fairly large truck with its 71 cubic feet (2 013 L) of interior space, it should have a better mechanism to fold the rear seats. There is still an 6 inch (120 mm) step once the seats are completely folded. A flat floor would be welcome! Finally, fuel consumption is at par with the price tag.. I averaged 21 liters/ 100 km on a ratio of 75% of city driving and 25% of highways. |
