Lincoln MKX 2007

We didn’t like :

• Unfortunately, like most North American products, the resale value will be less than its Japanese competitors;
• Even though it’s well equipped, the price is the MKX remains high. The Ford Edge with its similar conception will sell for quite less.;
• The front seats are comfortable but could offer more lateral and leg support. It’s never fun when you actually have to hold on to the steering wheel in tight corners;
• Some commands found on the front panel are too small. The driver has to pay special attention and thus not look at the road in the meantime;
• The curb weight of the MKX is higher than the segment’s average. Undoubtedly, its fuel consumption will also be higher. The other downside of such a weight is the tendency for under steering found in the MKX.

Who would of thought of seeing Lincoln reborn from its ashes like that? Yes, I am exaggerating a bit. But, in my opinion Lincoln was to suffer the same faith as Oldsmobile, which disappeared two years ago. Is this a turn around “à la » Cadillac? Time will time but sometimes, late is better than never!
