2009 Nissan GT-R
By Benjamin Cyr
Not an every day car
Although the car is civilized, comfortable and the trunk is usable, the Nissan GT-R 2009 is not a daily driver. In city driving, the car is out of domain. The GT-R was made to be pushed to the edge on track, not be stuck in traffic or to run errands. The few hundreds of GT-R coming to Canada for 2009 are already sold-out.
Other comment – René
Aggressive, extreme, violent, these are the words that pop to my mind when asked to describe the 2009 Nissan GT-R. Ben said more than enough, I don’t have much to add. I totally agree with his last comment. The GT-R is not suited for normal driving. On top of that, trust me when I tell you that your 15 points on your licence are not enough to use the GT-R as a daily driver. I am urging the lucky owners to become member of the closest race track they can find. Your Skyline will thank you in many ways!
Special thanks
The Road-test.com team would like to thank the Lachute Performance team for their help with the dyno test. Also, we would like to thank Eric Bourbonnais and Francois Sylvain for the amazing work they did on some of the photos. |
